Event FAQs

Q: What is included in my Arival ticket?

A: With your ticket, you have access to all Theater Sessions, Workshops, Demo Labs, Networking Lounge, and evening networking events! Lunch is included on Tuesday and Wednesday for all attendees and coffee breaks will be available. You will also have on-demand access to the recordings of sessions that are included with the online ticket through December 31, 2021. If you are an Arival Insider Pro Access member, you will additionally have access to exclusive sessions and networking events.

Q: Is my hotel included in my ticket?

A: Your Arival Ticket does not include your hotel stay. You can book your room through our event website for the host venue, the Rosen Shingle Creek.

Q. Where do I find the agenda?

A: You can find our agenda on our website as soon as it is available. A general agenda is posted on our website now. A detailed agenda will be posted on our website as we get closer to the event. The full agenda will also be in the Swapcard event mobile and desktop app. We will share the app link to all registered attendees weeks before the event.

Q. How do I see who else is attending?

A: Once we have a critical mass of attendees, you can see what businesses are attending on our website under Who is Attending. During the conference, you will be able to contact these same attendees using the Arival event app. An email will go out with more details and information for our event app once you’ve registered. Sponsors receive names, titles, companies, and email addresses for all attendees.

Q. What are the session types during an Arival Event?

A: At Arival there is so much going on your head will be spinning. For those of you who have attended in person, you know that during our live events you have to choose what is most important for you and your company. Where do you spend your time? The theater sessions, workshops, demo labs, the networking lounge, or spend all of your time in meetings, do whatever helps you meet your objectives. This is why many companies bring multiple people so they can divide and conquer and share notes post-event.

  • The Arival Theater – this is when only one session of content is happening. This includes Keynotes, Research presentations, Ask Me Anything interviews with senior industry thought leaders, Panels, and Operator Talks.
  • Workshops – multiple breakout sessions will be taking place at the same time. These provide tactical learning on the most important items to grow your business. You choose between the variety of workshops being offered.
  • Demo Labs – sponsored sessions by leaders in tech, distribution, and other services that are critical to your business. You choose between the variety of Demo Labs that are taking place simultaneously.
  • Roundtables – small group sessions (10-20 people) in a small conference room. These have a specific topic and will be hosted by an ArivalExpert. Roundtables are interactive and engaging and provide the perfect opportunity for the peer-to-peer learning that Arival is known for. These are first-come, first-served, and must be reserved in advance, they will fill up.
Q. I would like to attend in-person, but am still concerned about Covid-19, tell me about the cancellation policies.

A: We are offering a registration fee refund protection plan, which can be included at the time your ticket is purchased. This will provide a full refund for your Event registration in the case of unforeseen circumstances requiring you to cancel your attendance. Hotel reservations may be made up to 6 days prior to the event with no cancellation fee. Check with your airline for specific policies.

Q. My schedule/travel limitations/budget doesn’t allow me to come this year. How can I participate?

A: Arival Orlando 360 is being offered as a hybrid event. Online dates will be announced soon. Selected content from our theater sessions, interviews with speakers and other attendees, workshops, innovation labs, and more will all be available on-demand as part of the Online Ticket. All virtual attendees will have the ability to connect with both online and in-person attendees through the event app. Arival online events have been successful and engaging and Arival Orlando 360 will be a great experience for virtual attendees.

A: The ArivalExpert Network features experienced experts in the In-Destination Experiences Industry who have partnered with Arival to offer their expertise during our events. The ArivalExperts will be facilitating roundtables on a range of topics, providing an opportunity for operators to learn from other operators, share your experiences, and make new connections.

Q. Who speaks at Arival Events?

A: For each event, Arival speakers include thought leaders from the leading brands in the In-Destination Experiences Industry including distributors, tech companies, marketing leaders, and especially operators of tours, activities, attractions and experiences. Arival always ensures that we hear from operators who have great stories to tell. Here is a list of speakers from past events. Speakers for Arival 360 Orlando will be available soon.

Q. What is the hashtag for the event?

A: #arivalevent is the hashtag we use for all Arival events

Q: Will the sessions be available on-demand?

A: All theater sessions will be available on-demand shortly after the event for both in-person and online attendees. Some workshops, Innovation Labs and Demo Labs will also be available on demand.

Q: How long is on-demand content available for attendees?

A: Content is available until December 31, 2021. This includes all sessions (except Roundtables).

Welcome to Arival 360 Orlando

Q: How do I get to Arival Orlando?

A: Orlando is easily accessible with flights, many of them non-stop, from around the world. From the airport, there are a variety of transportation options including shuttles, rental cars, taxis, Uber, and Lyft. A taxi will be approximately $40, an Uber or Lyft approximately $25 (but you should double-check as pricing is frequently changing). Arival attendees receive free self-parking at the Rosen Shingle Creek.

Rosen Shingle Creek is conveniently located on Universal Boulevard just off of the Beachline Expressway (SR 528, Exit #2) and a half-mile east of the Orange County Convention Center. This ideal location is also minutes away from Orlando’s world-famous attractions like Universal Orlando, Disney World, Aquatica, SeaWorld Orlando, and others.

Q: Where do I go to Check-in and Register for Arival In-Person?

A: Registration/Check-In will be located in the Gatlin Ballroom of the Rosen. Registration will take place on Monday, October 18 from 2:00pm – 5:00pm and Tuesday starting at 9:00am. Make sure you are registered by 1:00pm on Tuesday when the Arival Theater content begins. Lunch is provided on Tuesday for registered attendees.

Q. Is it necessary for me to wear my Arival badge at the event?

A: YES! Attendees are required to wear their name badge at all times while in the conference space or at the evening events. If you do not have your badge, you will not be allowed access to Arival. Should you lose, forget or misplace your badge and wish to gain entry, you must present a photo ID and will be charged a fee of $25 for replacement. In order to protect the investment you make in attending Arival, badges are non-transferable; sharing of badges will result in the removal of the badge holder from the event.

Q. What is the dress code for Arival?

A: From casual to formal, whatever makes you comfortable!  This is an event specifically for Operators of Tours, Activities, and Attractions. This is not a formal industry, it is about learning, fun, experiences, and connections. Arival parties will be outdoors in the evenings (weather permitting) so plan accordingly.  We want you to get the most out of the conference, so come dressed the way that represents our industry- any way that works for you!

Q. What should I bring with me?

A: Your ID, your phone with the Swapcard event app downloaded, business cards, a swimsuit, and a readiness to learn and connect!

Q. Will there be food and beverages provided?

A: We will provide coffee breaks throughout and include lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday.  The Monday Welcome Party will have free drinks and the Wednesday night finale will have free drinks and delicious appetizers. If you notified us on your registration of any food allergies, something will be provided that meets your needs. Other meals and snacks are on your own, there are multiple restaurants on-site at the Rosen Shingle Creek.
